UAC Foods Limited (UFL) is a joint venture business of UAC of Nigeria Plc and Tiger Brands International wherein UACN holds 51% equity stake and Tiger Brands holds 49% with both parties exercising joint management control.
The joint venture – UAC Foods Limited – is a fusion of UAC Foods and UAC Dairies Divisions of UAC of Nigeria Plc and UACN shares of Spring Waters Nigeria Limited – its wholly-owned subsidiary.
UAC Foods Limited continues to be the proud custodian of some of the household names in fast moving consumer goods business in Nigeria with products such as Gala Sausage Roll, Funtime Cake, Funtime Coconut Chips, Gala Crunchies, Snaps Cheeseballs, Supreme Ice Cream, Supreme Flavoured Milk, Delite Fruit Juice, Swan Water and Swan Soft Drinks.
Additionally, through the strategic merits of the joint venture, UFL is poised to endear itself to the hearts of Nigerian consumers through offering more Innovative choices in the snacks and beverage categories that will be accessible and affordable. Brand building for greater bonding with its consumers is a major strategic thrust for the business.
Presently, UAC Foods Limited operates out of three (3) manufacturing sites. In the near future, the business intends to expand its manufacturing sites into new geographical territories as well as strengthen its trade and distribution networks within and outside Nigeria in order to serve its customers and consumers excellently.
