NEW BOARD CHANGES AT UAC OF NIGERIA PLC

At a recent meeting the Board of UAC of Nigeria Plc (UACN) made the following Board changes.

Mr Joseph Ibrahim Dada, the Executive Director, Corporate Services of UAC of Nigeria PLC will proceed on retirement on 1st January, 2018 after 34 years meritorious service to the Company. Mrs Omolara Elemide has been appointed as Executive Director, Corporate Services with effect from 1st January, 2018.

Following the appointment of Mr Abdul Akhor Bello, the incumbent ED/Chief Financiai Officer as Group Managing Director/CEO of UAC of Nigeria PLC with effect from 1st January, 2018, Mrs Adeniun Folasade Taiwo has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (a Non-Board position) with effect from 1st January, 2018.

At the Board meeting of the Company held on Thursday, 7th of December 2017, Mr. Solomon Aigbavboa was appointed as the Managing Director of Livestock Feeds Plc with effect from 1st January 2018. UAC REWARDS SHAREHOLDERS WITH N1.92 BILLION DIVIDEND PAYOUT, SEEKS TO BOLSTER CAPITAL POSITION VIA N15.4 BILLION RIGHTS ISSUE

UAC of Nigeria PLC (UAC) has rewarded shareholders with N1.92 Billion dividend payout, even as the Company seeks to bolster its capital position via a N15.4billion rights issue.
