UACN SHOWCASES STRENGTH AT LAGOS TRADE FAIR

UAC of Nigeria PLC (UACN), Nigeria 's leading Diversified Company, actively participated in the 2006 Lagos International Trade Fair with the display of its wide range of products and services.

The UACN pavilion, which covered over 200 sq. metres, hosted the following Business Units.

•  UAC Diaries
•  Grand Cereals & Oil Mills Limited (GCOML)
•  Spring Waters Nigeria Limited (SWAN)
•  Warm Spring Waters Nigeria Limited (WSWNL)
•  CAP PLC
•  UACN Property Development Company Plc (UPDC PLC)
•  UACN Registrars Limited

The pavilion became a toast to visitors at the fair due to the presence of UACN's well-known brands such as UAC Diaries' range of Supreme Ice Cream including the new trio of Fun Blast, Snocreme and Frosty. Gossy Spring Water and SWAN Water – two of the nation's top premium brands in the Spring Water category were also on display. Gossy is produced by WSWNL from the Warm Spring of Ikogosi in Ekiti State.

GCOML's Grand Oils - Soya and Groundnut - and Richfil also attracted good patronages at the fair. CAP PLC's products on display at the fair included Carat Medicated Soap, Clenol Gel Toothpaste, Purit Liquid Antiseptic and Safe Cut Anti-Bump Liquid.

UACN Property Development Company PLC and UACN Registrars Limited made impressive showings at the trade fair. UACN Property Development Company PLC (UPDC) major exhibit at the fair was a prototype of its Anchorage Estate located at Amuwo Odofin in the Lagos Mainland.

UACN Registrars Limited, which acts as Registrars to the following Companies - UACN PLC, UPDC PLC, CAP PLC, UNIC Insurance PLC, Vono Products PLC and Vitafoam PLC - also witnessed enquiries about its services at the fair.
