uac FOOD COURTS, VIRGIN COLOURS SOFT DRINK PARTNER TO ENRICH VALENTINE EXPERIENCE FOR NIGERIANS.

UAC Food Courts, the umbrella name for the various QSR brands in the stable of UACN PLC and which comprises Mr. Bigg's, Village Kitchen, Chicken Inn, Pizza Inn and Creamy Inn, have entered into a strategic partnership with Virgin Colour Soft Drinks, owned and promoted by Classic Beverages Nigeria Limited. The union is a tactical formation which is intended to electrify the St. Valentine's Day experience of Nigerians.

According to Marc Schreuder, the Divisional Managing Director of UAC Franchising, ‘we're utilizing this season to identify with lovers across the country and also assuring them that UAC Restaurant brands; Mr. Bigg's, Village Kitchen, Chicken Inn, Pizza Inn and Creamy Inn are irresistible locations to celebrate with their partners
this valentine'.

Speaking at an official announcement on Valentine's Day promotion the Chief Operating Officer Classic Beverages Nigeria Limited, Mr. Prahlad Gangadharn said that,

“Celebration of love is in line with the company's core values”. The partnership with UAC Restaurants, he pursued is driven by the fact that his “… is an organization which celebrates love in the lives of customers. The partnership is a means of sharing the customers' passion thereby elevating Virgin Colours Soft drinks to the favorite drink of this special day and splashing colours on the lives of millions of Nigerian youths”

To the above end, all UAC Food Courts will introduce décor enhancements for Valentine beginning from February 11 – 14, 2009. This is in addition to the selling at discounted prices, of brilliantly packaged Valentine Packs in all Mr Bigg's restaurants . The packs are made up of a beautifully decorated valentine cake, Virgin Soft Drinks, a teddy and a body spra y

The partnership is keen to stimulate widespread awareness of the delightful possibilities which UAC Food Courts are offering at Valentine. Therefore, UAC Franchising, the division of UACN PLC responsible for defining and implementing brand and marketing strategy for the QSR brands in the UAC fold, along with Virgin Colour Soft Drinks, have fashioned for deployment an inventive mix of communication vehicles and disciplines. This includes SMS (Short Message Service by telephone); radio jingle, internet and editorial publicity via news releases.

The execution al modes are that SMS will be composed and sent to customers inviting them to feature in the arrangements. A 30-second radio jingle has been produced and will be aired on select radio stations pan Nigeria. Information on the Valentine package will be deployed on the UACN PLC website.

The two brands are welcoming Nigerians, in their numbers, to a rare and pleasurable experience in UAC Food Courts at Valentine.
